Applications are open now for Mountview’s MA Site-Specific Theatre Practice, a fast-growing art form, that has captured the imagination of theatre and fine art practitioners throughout the U.K and internationally. The first course of its kind in the UK, it is created and led by Geraldine Pilgrim, a leading practitioner in the creation of site-specific theatre and installations. The course is delivered in partnership with Shoreditch Town Hall, rooting students in a professional space renowned for supporting site-specific work.
The course will consist of a variety of salons and seminars as well as site visits, practical projects and a site residency with strong emphasis placed on learning through practice. The course is aimed at practitioners with art or drama or performance background wanting to diversify their artistic skills in the area o site-specific practice. Applications are welcomed from those with experience in the fine art, theatre or related industries as well as those currently studying at B.A level.
