We are very sorry to announce that we have had to cancel the performances of Never Forget at Alexandra Palace due to unforeseen circumstances. We would like to thank everybody involved for all their hard work and contribution and we are devastated that the performances are not able to go ahead at this present time.
Handbag 5, October 2019 Shoreditch Town Hall Geraldine Pilgrim Performance Company brings Handbag, the celebratory, participatory performance with music, dancing and, of course, handbags to Shoreditch Town Hall on Saturday 5 October. For full information, click this link. A witty and wistful performance that, in a few delirious moments, succinctly makes the point that no woman needs a man when she has got her handbag in tow. Lyn Gardner, writing for The Guardian Handbag was originally commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre for their Grand Hall Ballroom. This work now tours and is re-imagined for every space inside and out, where it is performed. In the coming days, we will be posting information concerning a number of projects to take place in 2019. We also anticipate announcements concerning other runs of Handbag in the coming year, along with workshops, and mentoring sessions. Additionally, Geraldine is in the mist of the opening semester of The MA in Site-Specific Theatre Practice at Mountview.
